Sarracenia cv. ‘Norman Parker’

This beautiful hybrid (S. minor x (x catesbaei)), with its incongruously wide, heavily veined lids, is named informally after the chap who bred it, Norman Parker. Norman lives near here, and worked at Millfield school, where he housed his collection along with Adrian Slack in the early days. It’s a sought after plant, and grows to about 10 inches in height.
