A genus of approximately 24 species of terrestrial plants, related to Utricularia and Pinguicula. The plants produce strange forked, cork screw traps, which guide prey along hair lined margins, up in to the stem and a chamber where they are digested. It's been suggested that there is some kind of active mechanism in place, as the chambers are often found to contain sand particles, despite the traps facing downwards.
Some are easy to grow, requiring the same conditions as most terrestrial Utricularia species.
